Browns Garden Buildings was founded on 24th July 2013 by its co owners Chris & Sue Brown. After 18 years running the existing family concrete garage business it was time to move the design and concepts used in the sectional concrete building industry into timber garden buildings.
In October 2017 we moved to our current workshop behind the Beehive Garage in Horwich which has allowed us to develop and improve our range of garden buildings with new modern contemporary designs.
We have continued to grow our business, driven by the need to work from home and the reinvention of our bespoke garden spaces. We have also forged a relationship with The Green House People who have 36 show sites in garden centres including Dobbies, all over the country selling garden buildings from different manufacturers. We are confident in our buildings and always aim to exceed expectations. In October 2021, Browns Garden Buildings was acquired by Winch & Co, a Leeds-based industry and manufacturing investment business.

All the timber used is from a certified responsible source and has been carefully chosen by our timber importer to offer the highest quality and finish. This combined with innovative design and use of modern roofing materials, doors and windows, ensures Browns Garden Building will enhance the appearance of your garden.
Our aim is to build on the tradition of quality and design brought through four generations of building knowledge. Our future depends on continued innovation “By Design”, and in offering a unique bespoke design service alongside a range of quality Garden buildings.
We have become FSC® certified (FSC® C007915) to allow for the supply of responsibly sourced timber in all our buildings, as well as being carbon neutral.
